Our staff will host information sessions to explain the new process, answer your questions, and discuss ways you can maximize Top Scholar funds. We invite all GPAs, GPCs, chairs, and other pertinent department staff to attend. Because these will be small, individualized sessions (12-15 people), we ask that you register on Catalyst: https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/megray/113921. (If you and your colleagues would like to attend the same session, we suggest that one person register for all attendees from your department.)
Top Scholar Awards (TSA) is one component of The Graduate School Fund for Excellence and Innovation (GSFEI). The primary goal for the TSA is to help programs attract outstanding students to University of Washington programs by partnering with units to build competitive financial packages for their top student prospects.
This funding cycle is for the 2011-2013 biennium.

Proposals must be submitted electronically through MyGradProgram and must follow the outline described below. Although proposals may be typed directly into MyGradProgram, best practice is to complete the proposals in MS Word or another word processing program and copy the completed result into MyGradProgram.
