Can I still submit a request if I missed the nominations deadline?

We are sorry, but you will need to hold your request for the following academic year.
Please contact our Lectureship Director, Yvette Moy, to add your name to the mailing list. She can be reached at yvettef@u.washington.edu.

Can I re-nominate someone I have nominated before?

Yes, you can re-nominate someone you or another faculty member has nominated before, provided that the nominee has not been a Danz or Walker-Ames lecturer before.

What expenses are covered for lecturers through this program?

The Graduate School has enough funding to cover the following expenses:
- Round trip, coach class airfare for the lecturer
- Hotel accommodations for the lecturer and spouse/partner
- Honorarium
- Small departmental stipend to help defray costs of visit

What costs are the host departments expected to cover?

Host departments are expected to cover the costs of meals, transportation, and other support needs.
