Welcome!
Graduate education helps virtually everyone through innovation, problem-solving, and enrichment of society in countless ways.
Did you know most UW graduate students remain in Washington after receiving their degrees to become business and political leaders, policy makers, scholars, researchers, teachers and artists? Their collective impact cannot be overstated.
To heighten awareness about graduate education and celebrate graduate and professional students’ accomplishments, Washington Governor Christine Gregoire and Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels have both declared March 31 – April 5, 2008 “Graduate & Professional Education Week 2008” (see proclamation scans to the left).
