GO-MAP Prospective Student Days - 2013

Thursdays, 4:00-8:00pm | HUB 334 | March 7 * March 21 * April 4

Admitted prospective graduate students of color (starting their graduate work at the UW in Autumn 2013 are invited to join us for Prospective Student Days, or PSD. Prospective students will participate in departmental events, while also enjoying GO-MAP sponsored activities.  Students have several opportunities to network with students and faculty from various departments and to learn about funding, housing, campus climate, and living in Seattle.

UW Departments, registration is required for prospective students to attend the events below. Please RSVP by completing this form and emailing it to gomap at u.washington.edu to register your prospective student(s) for scheduled activities.   • 4:00-4:15pm - Meet and greet
  • 4:15-4:30pm - Welcome and introductions
  • 4:30-4:35pm - Graduate School Dean’s address
  • 4:35-4:40pm - GO-MAP’s graduate student remarks and housekeeping
  • 4:40-6:00pm - Graduate student of color-led discussion, “The Only One…”
  • 6:00-8:00pm - Reception (open to all visitors)
