Fulbright Study Abroad Fellowship

The University of Washington campus deadline for applications for the Fulbright Study Abroad competition for 2008-2009 passed in October 2007.

Information about the 2009-2010 competition will be available at this site in April 2008.

We will hold information sessions for prospective Fulbright applicants during spring and summer quarters.  Check back here for more information.

Prospective applicants should check eligibility requirements and then read the country summary for the country in which they wish to study and/or conduct research, to see what the individual requirements and guidelines for that country, especially language and affiliation requirements.

After May 1st, on-line applications are available at https://apply.embark.com/student/fulbright/usa/.  Each applicant sets up his or her own application directly on the website.  If you have questions after carefully reading the information on the Fulbright website and the application website contact one of the following people.

Undergraduate students (and recent graduates of the University of Washington) will apply through the Undergraduate Scholarship Office, 120 Mary Gates Hall.  Fulbright advisers there are
