Rosetta Inpharmatics Fellowships
in Molecular Profiling
2008-09
April 14, 2008
Dear Deans, Directors, and Chairs:
I am happy to announce the fifth annual Rosetta Inpharmatics competition for postdoctoral fellow or graduate student
researchers. The Graduate School is offering a funding opportunity
supporting research in molecular profiling through fellowships provided by
Rosetta Inpharmatics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc.
The 2008-2009 Rosetta Inpharmatics Fellowships in
Molecular Profiling will support 12 month stipends for postdoctoral
awardees, (in the range of $44,000 to $52,000) and for predoctoral awardees
(approximately $25,000).
All materials from post- and pre- doctoral applicants
must be submitted electronically to
gspff@u.washington.edu by 5 pm, Monday, May
5, 2008. Award
recipients will be notified by early June, in order that funding may be used
in the 2008-2009 academic year.
Questions about the fellowship should be directed to
Associate Dean Thomas W. Gething via e-mail at
gething@u.washington.edu. Questions on the application
should be directed to
gspff@u.washington.edu.
Thank you for your help in publicizing this exceptional
opportunity for our postdocs and graduate students.
Yours sincerely,
Suzanne Ortega
Vice Provost & Dean of The Graduate School
