To create a variety of transportable strategies for change, the MOST program is working with eighteen diverse institutions and one regional cluster of colleges to improve the academic climate for students of color. The program targets five of the most critical elements affecting institutional diversity: departmental climates, curricula, research training, mentoring, and the academic pipeline.

Virginia Commonwealth University Preparing Future Faculty in the Professions (PFFP) http://www.vcu.edu/pffp/index.html  This program recognizes the overlooked need to prepare faculty for work in professional schools. It seeks to create a model course series that focuses specifically on students in professional schools as well as a model for faculty development and project institutionalization.

WWNFF annually awards up to 30 grants of up to $1,500 to support Humanities Ph.D. students who have created internships for themselves that engage their scholarship in a context outside of college teaching and research.
