Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (German Academic Exchange Service)

in a wide range of fields for non-Germans interested in doing research,
studying, and teaching in Germany. DAAD provides similar information and funding
for Germans interested in teaching and studying abroad. See also their

in Germany. Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education

FIPSE currently administers three special focus international
competitions. The European
Community/United States Cooperation Program in Higher Education and
Vocational Education and Training sponsors projects supporting
consortia of higher education institutions that promote institutional
cooperation and student mobility between the U.S. and European Community. The
Program
for North American Mobility in Higher Education provides funding for
institutional cooperation and student exchange among colleges and
universities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The US-Brazil
Higher Education Consortia Program sponsors projects promoting
institutional cooperation and student mobility between the U.S .and Brazil.
Ford Foundation: International Fellowships Program
http://www.fordfound.org/ The Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) provides support for
up to three years of formal graduate-level study leading to a masters or
doctoral degree. Fellows are individuals who will use this education to become
leaders in their respective fields, further development in their own
countries, and contribute to greater economic and social justice worldwide. They
are selected
from countries where the Ford Foundation maintains active overseas programs.
U.S. nationals are not eligible, although Fellows may study in the United
States.

National Science Foundation: International Programs
The Division of International Programs (INT) in the Social, Behavioral,
and Economic Sciences Directorate expands and facilitates the
international dimensions of NSF's mission by promoting new partnerships
between U.S. scientists and engineers and their foreign colleagues. Most
INT programs are organized on a regional or country basis. Information
and guidelines on proposal preparation for international programs

Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation: Public Policy and International Affairs

Policy Partnership in South Africa, and the Ron Brown Commercial Service
Fellowship for undergraduate and graduate students.

Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et
Commerciales (Association of Economics and Business Students)

is a global network of 50,000 members across more than 83 countries and
territories at over 800 universities world-wide. AIESEC facilitates
international exchange of students and recent graduates in paid traineeships or
as volunteers for a non-profit organizations. AISEC's exchanges seek to develop
participants' business skills and promote international understanding.
Next Wave Europe: Career Resources for Europe's Scientists

This portal includes links to bi-lingual pages for Germany,
the Netherlands, and the
United Kingdom, which provide a special focus for early-career
scientists from or working in those countries. This portal
also includes Eurodoc
Exchange, co-sponsored by Next Wave and Eurodoc. In addition to

United States, Canada,
and Singapore.
Science-Jobs-DE
http://jobs.uni-hd.de/ Science-Jobs-DE is Germany's only national, cross-disciplinary job engine
for the academic job market. The service is free, both to job seekers and
employers. Job seekers can either browse the constantly updated Web
archive, or can subscribe to an e-mail alert list to receive job announcements
on a regular basis. Next Wave is working with Science-Jobs-DE to provide
career information on its Germany
site that will aid scientists in Germany looking for positions.
