Integrative Graduate Education and Research Training Program (IGERT)

Description

The University of Texas at Austin has developed a Graduate Research Training Program which offers excellent integrated, multidisciplinary training in the area of Optical Biomolecular Engineering.

This program will produce graduates uniquely qualified to carry out inter-disciplinary research and development in optical biomolecular engineering by providing them with knowledge that crosses more than one discipline and an effective model of how to manage multi-disciplinary collaborations in a high-tech setting. Participants are in the Graduate Programs of Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Physics.
