College Teaching

Description
Clemson University offers a for-credit, full-semester graduate course called College Teaching, during which the students design and develop a course (including all classroom activities, assignments, some supporting materials, and some assessment instruments), compose a teaching philosophy, and write their own CV. The course is cross-disciplinary and open to graduate students in all disciplines.

The course was developed and is conducted by Linda B. Nilson, Director of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation, and is offered through the School of Education of Clemson University.
