Title

Professional & Academic Success Skills (P.A.S.S.) Program

Description
A series of intensive Saturday workshops designed to enhance the professional development of graduate and professional students, postdoctoral and clinical fellows, residents and junior faculty. Topics include: Being a Successful Graduate Student or Post-doc, Successful Fellowship and Grant Writing, Creating Your Research Program and Intellectual Property, Writing and Publishing Research Articles, Effective Oral Presentations for Scientists, and Management Skills for Scientists. Workshops include didactic and participatory segments and utilize UCSF faculty, staff, students and post-docs, as well as outside speakers to provide content and interaction with participants.

The P.A.S.S. Seminar Series is co-sponsored by the UCSF Student Academic Enrichment Program and the UCSF Career Center, with additional support from the UCSF Postdoctoral Scholars Association and UCSF Graduate Division
