Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award

Description

This $5,000 award recognizes individual faculty who place high value on and excel in mentoring doctoral students. Nominees are tenured full professors who have demonstrated teaching excellence at the graduate level, chaired doctoral committees, attracted students to ASU through recruitment and reputation, and have an established record of mentoring students through completion of the doctoral degree. Nominees also have helped place graduates in academic or industry settings, and provided training in career advancement.

The award is co-sponsored by the Graduate College and the ASU Foundation.
