Ph.D. Career Paths

Description

The purpose of this study was to determine the employment status of 4,369 individuals who earned doctoral degrees from the University of Washington over the 10 year period from 1986 to 1996.  The study found that University of Washington Ph.D.s were employed across all sectors, from academic institutions to business and government.

Through collecting, analyzing and publishing these results, this study responds to demands from graduate students and administrators for more accurate and detailed employment information on degree recipients.
