The Career Planning Center
(CPC) for Beginning Scientists and Engineers is the
"one-stop shopping" location for job openings and the
guidance and information needed to make decisions about
education and career choices. Registrants come from the
disciplines of: Engineering; Interdisciplinary ; Life
Sciences; Medical Sciences; Physical Sciences and
Mathematics; Professional; Social Sciences; and Other
disciplines. Registrants come to the site: Out of general
interest; Seeking Employees; Seeking Employment,
Postdoctorals, and Internships; or Seeking
Guidance.
The Center is useful if you
are a science or engineering student looking for a job,
research funding, internship or postdoc, an employer looking
for someone with a science and engineering background,
looking for advice as to whether or not to go to graduate
school, have advice to offer to science and engineering
students, if you would like to know more about different
occupations from those who are actually in them, or if you
want to know what the trends and changes are in the science
and engineering job market. Ask a question; Provide what
advice you'd give to science and engineering students; Post
a job; Request an on-line mentor; or Review information on
the latest employment trends. Take a look at our student
