Innovation Grants Competition

Description

The Innovation Grants Competition is a global competition challenging doctoral students to rethink their dissertation research in terms of its commercial potential. Applicants are asked to submit a written proposal that explains how their research could be translated into a new product or service. Through the Competition, the Forum seeks to spark new levels of creativity and ingenuity at the world's research universities. The goal is to encourage entrepreneurial literacy among the academic research community. At the same time, the Innovation Grants Competition seeks to make academic research more accessible and relevant to the public at large. The Merrill Lynch Forum is a virtual think tank designed to explore issues of critical importance in technology, economics and international relations affecting our clients, shareholders, colleagues and society at large.
