The University Career Center
at NC State works with faculty members to prepare doctoral
students for the job market. The Center hosts presentations
in graduate classes and independently on topics such as
developing job search strategies for academic and
non-academic positions, and financing graduate school
education through internships and part-time jobs. The Center
also provides a Web site for graduate students and offers a
Career Manual which can be accessed through the site.
