Title

Ph.D. Program in Behavior Analysis

Description

Ten years ago, the Department of Psychology launched a new Ph.D. program in Behavior Analysis funded largely by compensation for services delivered to state and other agencies. As a result, doctoral students in the program acquire experience dealing with large projects and six-figure budgets as part of their education. Students also have the opportunity to meet key state needs through service. The five-year doctoral program trains graduates to teach; do research; work in business, government, or industry; work as administrators, consultants, program developers, program managers, or program evaluators in the public and private sectors. All graduate students are funded, hundreds of undergraduates gain practicum experience, and the department has created four faculty lines.
