Title

Les Doctoriales: a French Seminar to Prepare for Life after the Doctorate

Description

Les Doctoriales are seminars run in cooperation with industry and designed to improve employability of doctoral students in France. Doctoral students, after having completed the seminar, should feel able to valorize their competencies in the economic world and understand how their dissertations can help in doing so. The dissertation supervisors themselves are involved as much as possible in the seminars in order to develop relationships with doctoral students on a more professional basis, and to induce long-term changes in graduate studies at universities.
