Ph.D. in Technology Management

Description

The Ph.D. in Technology Management, approved by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education on February 13, 1998, established a precedent for the advancement of graduate studies in technology. The mission of the program is to promote research through doctorate level studies addressing the explosion of new technologies and knowledge. The program was designed to optimize the use of resources currently available in each of the nine participating universities. This consortium structure permits access to a combined faculty of over 360 members, 270 of whom have advanced doctorate degrees, and more than 60 of whom are qualified to teach and direct advanced graduate research. Each university is "home" to a College of Technology that provides undergraduate laboratories and offers large undergraduate and masters programs. Consortium member universities agree to recruit students, provide fellowships, identify co-advisors, and provide technology for receiving distance learning courses.
