Doctoral Study for the Working Professional

Description

The Fielding Institute is a global community of scholar-practitioners engaged in graduate education and research to advance individuals, organizations and society.  Accredited graduate degree programs include Educational Leadership & Change (Ed.D), Clinical Psychology (Ph.D.), Human & Organization Development (Ph.D.), and Organizational Management (M.A.).

A pioneer in networked distance education, Fielding serves mid-career professionals with challenging, flexible, and student-centered graduate degree programs.  Fielding's dynamic, yet geographically dispersed, scholarly community is maintained through intellectual exchanges that take place within an array of face-to-face academic events, electronic communications, and extensive one-to-one faculty-student mentoring.

One doctoral program is the Educational Leadership & Change Ed.D. program, which uses an interdisciplinary, action-oriented research approach to promote transformational leadership and quality systemic change within educational and other diverse learning communities.  Students develop the theoretical frameworks and skills to confront the complex challenges of their respective organizations and communities.

The Fielding Institute is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges; its Clinical Psychology Program is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
