Graduate Student Services

Description

The Graduate Student Services office at Columbia University's Center for Career Services offers counseling, programming and workshops to assist graduate students in their job searches whether in the academic or non-academic sectors. Emphasis is placed on self-assessment, career research and experiential learning as important aspects of determining an appropriate career path. In the tight academic job market, doctoral students are encouraged to explore the range of options available to them beyond academia.
