Student Internships

Description

Intel offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. students a chance to gain career experience as an intern in the computer industry. Intel hires hundreds of interns each year from campuses across the United States, the majority of whom are offered full-time employment after graduation. In addition, Intel offers both summer and co-op internships at sites in Arizona, Northern California, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. Summer interns attend school full-time during the academic year and work full-time for approximately twelve weeks during the summer. Co-op internships, which are completed concurrent with academic studies and may fulfill academic credits, are also available to students. Internships are available to students in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, and Mechanical Engineering. Interns also have access to classes for both professional and personal development through Intel University; and are provided with the opportunity to meet with Intel managers through information sessions and career fairs.
