Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Organizational Leadership

Description

In 1996, the University of Oklahoma initiated an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Organizational Leadership for the European theater military community in Heidelberg, Germany. This program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the topics, theories and research critical to the professional success of leaders in a multitude of different organizations. The program is organized in a cohort format with face-to-face doctoral seminars in Germany conducted by graduate faculty from the University of Oklahoma, as well as intensive summer sessions in residence in Norman, Oklahoma. The four-week summer session includes a Leadership Lecture Series focusing on politics, corporate business, and education. In addition, instruction is available via the Web or electronic mail.
