Graduate Programs that Require or Recommend Internships

Description

Duke University's doctoral programs in Physical Therapy and Statistics require or recommend formal internships in business, industry, government or other educational venues. The internship component of the Statistics Ph.D. program encourages students to participate in the active cross-disciplinary collaborations between institute investigators and those from application areas including business, economics, engineering, environmental studies, health policy, many areas of the natural, social and physical sciences, and medicine. The Physical Therapy Ph.D. requires two twenty-week clinical internships designed to give students practical experience in all clinical and administrative aspects of their professional roles.
