Resident Researcher Associateship Program

Description

The National Research Council conducts the Resident Research Associateship Program (RRAP) in cooperation with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and selected federal research agencies and organizations under contract. Awardees in these programs are considered to be guest investigators in NASA Field Centers. Awardees are afforded the opportunity for advanced research experience in uniquely equipped NASA Centers. These opportunities contribute significantly to awardees' professional development. NASA also benefits by the significant contributions to its research mission and by the introduction of intellectual stimulation into the laboratory environment by the carefully selected, high quality scholars who win the awards.
