1995-2001 UW Alumni
(Residing in the Puget Sound area) Survey

This resource aims to help doctoral students reflect upon their career possibilities as they transition into new career positions. As part of a recent survey of UW alumni (1995-2001) residing in the Puget Sound area, doctoral graduates were asked if they would provide brief vignettes. The following vignettes describe post-graduation transitions and offer advice based on reflections upon their own doctoral education experiences.

Corrinna Laughlin, Ph.D. in English, 1998

Ed McCormack, Ph.D. in Geography, 1997

Tim Nelson, Ph.D. in Botany, 1995

David Taflin, Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, 1995

Lynette Westendorf, Ph.D. in Musical Arts in Composition, 1994
