The University of Washington has chosen five
finalists for the position of Dean of the Graduate
School and Vice Provost.
The University sought
out an
innovative and dynamic leader with extensive experience in graduate
education, a deep understanding of issues facing higher education,
excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong record of research and
teaching.
