Preliminary Evaluation Process for International Applicants (PEP)

Welcome to the Preliminary Evaluation Process (PEP) for international applicants. At the University of Washington, international applicants must meet several requirements in addition to those required of US applicants in order to be admitted to the Graduate School.

With the PEP, you can find out whether or not you meet our minimum requirements and are eligible to apply to study here. If you don't meet these minimum requirements, you should not apply to the University of Washington Graduate School.

We hope that you will learn that you are eligible to apply to the Graduate School. If you do qualify, there are instructions for obtaining an application at the end of the PEP.
