UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION AND INSTRUCTIONS

The Application for Admission to Graduate School at the University of Washington is now an online application, located at https://www.grad.washington.edu/application.

International applicants must first complete the Preliminary Evaluation Process (PEP) at www.grad.washington.edu/admissions/intl/intlmain.htm.

International applicants are those who currently hold or expect U.S. visas.  This includes holders of H1-B, J-1 exchange visitors or any other non-immigrant classifications.

We realize that in some instances, it may not be possible for an applicant to use the online process. Although the paper application takes from 4 – 6 weeks longer to process and the application fee is $50 (rather than $45 for the online application), if you *must* have access to a downloadable/printable version, you should contact the department to which you are applying (click here to look up departmental contact information). Some departments are still able to accept paper applications and some are not.

To facilitate your application you should make every effort to submit it online at https://www.grad.washington.edu/application.
