Graduate Student Service Appointments include teaching, research, and staff appointments, as well as certain kinds of fellowships. They entitle the student to certain benefits, and stipends. Additional information about applying, terms, benefits, and responsibilities, are below.

How to Apply for a TA or RA Position

If you would like to apply for a teaching or research assistantship at the University of Washington, we have provided the link to the application for your convenience. Print out the 2 page application and send it to the department to which you are applying.  If you have any questions about the application, please contact your department; they will be better able to inform you as to what sort of information they would prefer.
